Namor vs CGR

I heard a lot of people mention CGR is better than Namor. I also heard many people mention Namor is better than CGR. I don't really know, I mean, both of them are in my roster yet none are used since I don't know how to play with either. Anyone got an answer to this?

Both are good for what they do, great damage and all, I'll say that CGR is best to use and learn for being a top champ who can clear most content

Cgr is way better. Heavy, mllll, mlllm and throw sp2. Try not to dex for more damage.

I've only seen this rotation be used super effectively in shorter fights. For longer fights, i've seen more complicated rotations that work better with some astonishing numbers

In terms of utility: Namor has one primary function that comes out of his awakened ability at max sig - he counters Thorns and all thorn-like abilities (damage reflections, Korg rock stacks and etc). He is best at it since no one else can both counter the dmg and transfer it back onto defender. Also it makes him extremely suicides mastery friendly. But sadly there is not much else to him.
Cgr on other hand even without awakening has potent armor breaks and ability to inflict indefinite one against villians (good against Killmonger), vigilance to potentially fight miss and evade matchups, and different buffs to work with.
Once awakened inflicts degeneration once per rotation that acts like healblock and fateseal which can be extremely helpful in certain scenarios. Overall nothing insane, but pretty solid and useful across entire battlerealm.
In terms of dmg: For endgame content where heathpools go beyond 500k both are very good, and both require some knowledge and tricks to maximize their yellow numbers output. The main difference in fact that CGR is extremely strong against both Bigger and Smaller heathpools because of how flexible his rotations are. Meanwhile Namor always needs some time to ramp up and cannot get dmg without casting SP3.
    Overall CGR is better

Yeah for longer fights there’s an sp3 rotation to get a fury and have like 5 aptitudes but im not too sure what the best rotation is.

He only counters miss, not evade

Think about it this way: CGR is an all-rounder, being versatile enough to hold his own in most fights. Namor, on the other hand, is a specialist type champ, countering a few specific scenarios, but being the best in said scenarios.

Thank you everyone for helping me with the decision, it means a lot and thanks! CGR is now my Highest-PL champ in my roster.
