Fighting Thing on EQ - Thronebreaker

Does anyone have any good suggestions or champs to fight The Thing in this month’s Thronebreaker Event Quest?

He’s literally the first fight on the path and I cannot do a good job of getting past him.

    Slow champions like She-Hulk or Shang-Chi work great for this fight.

    Alternatively, you can simply get him to 15 charges and bait out a special. Slower than the previous method, but the unstoppable won't obliterate your champs. For this I'd recommend champions with high burst damage so that you don't need to do so many rotations of his charges.

    I was trying with the 15 charges, bait special aspect. But sometimes he wouldn’t special, or I’d make a mistake - I learned quicksilver was a TERRIBLE option because you can’t properly control his hit count.

    I was using Science because of the nodes, I don’t think I have a leveled up She Hulk but I do have a Spider-Gwen. Also have a 5* max Shang Chi.

    127 hits and still above 50%. Not working out too well for me since just a tiny bit of input lag completely decimated me.

    Quicksilver is actually your best option. Parry/heavy to start, backup until you have 300 charges and he will be perma slowed. If you get out of terminal velocity before he is dead just repeat.

    If you have falcon his lock on makes thing a piece of cake

    Void is the best counter there.

    SM2099 w/anti venom.

    She Hulk.

    You want to place a fatigue/exhaustion/weakness to get the fury's. Use 5 hit combos until 15 rock stacks and bait sp1 or 2. Rinse and repeat.
