What’s with this increasing trend of ignoring parry?

Is it just me or has the frequency of champs that bypass parry increased recently? And why? Is this related to the input issues or the over tuned AI, or both?

Or is this just a way to make champs more desirable for BGs? Either way it’s interesting that Kabam seems to want players to avoid parry/stuns
