Is the mantis side quest boss bugged ?

I keep doing zero damage when using special threes against her. Is there something in her kit the prevents damage from them or is the boss glitched?

    Leave a gap in between your combo and throwing the SP3. Power Shield 2.0 has been bugged it’s entire existence and will read an SP3 as a basic attack if it’s too close to a basic hit.

    Yes, it registers the special 3 as part of the combo and then does not deal the damage for some reason. I guess try to end the combo and then launch the special 3 after enough time between the combo and special 3. I have had it do no damage when I immediately launched the special 3 following a combo, and then later had it do the actual damage when I deliberately created a break between the combo and the special.

    Thanks for the info, I get pushed to special three sometimes because of the stupid special lock. This will definitely make it easier.
