First EOP run

So I'm thinking of doing my dreaded first EOP run. I'm just going for completion and exploration, which gives me enough for my 2nd and 3rd r4 to get Paragon. I don't want to do it, but it just seems like the best way to get r4 mats quickly. I've got a r4 herc, 10 revives, 6k units and a dream. Would that be enough? Lol. Also, any tips would be appreciated.

Do 8.1 and 8.2 exploration. It's a lot easier in my opinion and provides many more materials. 8.2 exploration provides three r4s alone.

Are bahamet and scytalis easy to beat? Since I'd probably have to fight them a few times each... I'm on 8.1.3, stopped there to focus on EOP, should I continue then?

Scytalis is a cakewalk, Bahamet is a little harder but gets much easier as you fight him multiple times. Beating Bahamet is a lot more reading than it is fighting, honestly.

It'll be cheaper doing Act 8, but takes longer. Also, since you aren't mixing in Carina's challenges vol 3 for EoP, I won't be that bad with your nuke Herc option. But you have enough for EoP 100%

Easiest bosses in the game. Some say bahamet is hard but it’s really simple fight you just gotta read the abilities and understand them and it’ll be a cakewalk

6k units will be plenty if you’re just going for the 2 exploration runs with Herc

You should go for exploring act 8.1 for a rank up gem and get the rest of the materials for your 3rd rank 4 from 8.2 paths that have tier 3 alpha and tier 6 basic. You can get half of tier 3 alpha and tier 6 basic from 8.1 completion and then each path you do on 8.2 which is 2 each quest can each give you half tier 3 alpha and half tier 6 basic. In conclusion You can do 8.1 exploration and do 10 paths in 8.2 without having to go for bahamut
That's what i did at least
