legends run w herc

is it worth attempting next months legends run with a r4 herc. i don’t have hit monkey or corvus (not sure who else is great for it). also if there’s any tips on how to be prepared for it that would be greatly appreciated such as boosts, refills, timings etc..

    He might be slow for it, but it's never not worth attempting. You sure you don't have any faster champions? Corvus and hit monkey aren't the only options

    If you have ghost, use her. I did Corvus but others can work. I used full suicide mastery plus 20% green and 15% orange boosts. About 38 refills on hand or units to purchase them. You will notice lag about halfway though, fights taking longer to load, etc., I suggest restarting the game when that happens, you will go much faster and make up any time lost from the restart.

    To add to this, start with Conquerer first, then Proven. If you can’t do Conquerer in around 2 hours and change then you won’t be fast enough. Suicides and boosts are very important.

    thanks for the info i’ve got a r3 ghost would that be a better approach? not sure on what the average times are for champs used and also not got any suis which i guess is a big problem

    Using Ghost is definitely the way to go even without suicides, but I'd still highly recommend investing in suicides. They're very expensive, but it's a one time purchase (technically) that goes a long way

    I did a run with Herc this EQ, i got a time of 3 hours and 31 minutes. Keep in mind mine is R5 and i was running full 30% boosts during those hours with suicide masteries. The synergy i ran was Ebony maw with 2 falcons and Hulk Ragnarok so that Herc can start with 3 charges.

    You can get the boosts from the Advanced alliance quest bundle which is 1375 units for x3 of each 30%/20% boost which lasts for an hour each.

    wow fair play i’m wondering if i use the same boosts i’ll be able to do it sub 4 hours (if that still qualifies idk) congrats tho

    I'm honestly not sure if that's fast enough to be entirely honest with you. I came back to the game on January after a 1-2 year break so I'm not sure how low times have gotten in terms of clear speed. That being said i heard anything under 3:40 is considered decent these days, not sure though.

    I do believe however, you should see similar results if you use your R4 Herc. Specially if you don't get as unlucky as i did with loading screens, i was forced to restart around 8-10 times from infinite loading screens.

    Herc has pretty good damage but I guess he's not that great for a legend run bcoz there is a specific rotation
    Boosted Corvus is still probably a better option
    Or a CGR but with him u need a bit of luck with AI

    If u keep ur Herc in his immortality & manage to finish fights in that 9 seconds window then he might work, but for that the first fight on every path will slow u down by a lot

    I will come back and give my results…I did a Legend run this month for the first time and started our with Corvus, herc, hitmonkey, and hulk…did a 3hr48min run…started using Corvus, bud switched to herc cause his damage was still good when hitting into the block or just a parry heavy

    Keep in mind a lot of people will be using 7*s. So times may be lower.

    He’s a bit slow. Suicide mastery & boosts are must if u want to use him.

    5* r5 hit monkey would do better than him.Since u need to finish fights within 4/5 secs which cgr can’t. Corvus & hm are the ideal options.
