What's the point in "buffing rewards" when no one can get them

Your talking about compensation in battlegrounds for AW when it's gonna take much more effort to grind out all of those rewards and not to mention the fact that for a lot of people the rewards that we would be getting are not unnabtainable

Here's an example: I do a season of AW in gold 1 which I am in and get a 6 star nexus, some ranking materials and 7,500 6 star shards which to get that now I believe I would have to either get to 300k or 325k battlegrounds points which isn't possible for me. I hit platinum 2 consistently and once I hit that I almost always get matched up with paragons players, being a cav player almost to TB and getting matched up against players with 4 rank 5's and 7 stars is impossible to win. I'm at 160k points this season and unless I just waste all my elder marks losing to get more points i can't progress. The last 3 times I've tried playing my opponents lowest PI character has been higher PI than my best. TLDR: the rewards are extremely skewed and most likely unobtainable for a lot of people.

    You can still win fights against Paragons, it just takes 80% luck and 20% skill. Even if you dont win, you get points for losing. I'm early TB and made it to plat 1 with 200k points just by playing casually.

    So you just have to get very lucky, wow I never though of that. You shouldn't need luck to get rewards when there getting rid of something like AW for a month, and your also 100k points off of even starting to get the rewards there talking about. These rewards are a joke.

    If I wanted the extra 100k, I'd work for it, the same thing you should do. And I'm not talking luck in terms of matchmaking, I'm talking luck in terms of drafting. The best thing you can do to fight someone with a bigger roster is just to draft smart. Keep practicing that and you'll be fine. There's also luck in whatever your AW match might be. The point of these rewards is to give us something to work towards while we're not distracted by AW, it's not meant to be free compensation.

    Well u do realize that there are people higher than G1 that would probably deserve more than this so called "buffed milestones"... And u have the same exact access to them... So yeah it is huge for u

    My Ally doesn't care very much for Battlegrounds, and neither do I... I just play the 3 matches every 2 days, not caring about if I win or lose matches. So the supposed rewards increase in Battlegrounds are useless to me... It would make more sense to send the same tier rewards we get in season 42 as a "correction" package...

    Which is why this is so bad, the people who do want or need it can't get it and the people who don't care a lot about it can't, I agree with badah if you see his comment.

    There are UCs in Plat I, so I think Cavs can get there.

    I'm not sure why the bonuses aren't spread out more. It's very top ended. I'd just rather them double up this season rewards, but understand why they are buffing BGs instead....However, they should be buffed from the beginning for it not to be a sham.
