Kindred interaction with Guillotine 2099

in Bugs and Known Issues
I tried to bypass Kindreds ability at 5% health with Gilly 2099s ability on sp3 to end the fight but Kindred didn't die but I didn't get rooted.
Is this right? Or is it a Bug? Who's ability should win in this situation?

    It should be prevented as Guillotine's abilities clearly state that, it can be prevented and also Kindred's ability states it can activate during Specials and he will still be immortal if it's trying to activate. However, Kindred's Signature ability also states that if activated from a special it should inflict the root at the end of the special attack, so it's most likely a bug as the root should be inflicted.
