scores were so tight, one loss could mean a drop in tiers. please expand them starting next season.

I assume you mean brackets in the Gladiator's Circuit? or did you mean the solo/alliance events?

No, stop making BG dull season after season.. you lost 1 lost the placement.. win the next 2...
Next thing you know people ask for BG placements to be percentage based... It's not how it works in a competition..

I think OP is referring to the massive dumpster fire URU III was compared to the entire rest of the circuit

What dumpster fire? A LOT more people played this time... You needed between 180-190 points to reach URU 2...its normal..

yes meant the gladiator circuit, not victory track.

The problem isn't the number of brackets. The way is structured is fine: individual rewards for 1 2 3, 4 through 10, 11-100, 100-200 and so on.
The issue I think is with scoring for win/loss. Right now you win or lose on average 15 points per match. I think that needs to be reduced to like an average of 5 points. So if, for example, you're in the middle of a bracket, losing a couple matches won't drop you out of that bracket.
Maybe 5 points is not enough. Let's say 10 points.

I guess we'll have to see what bounces back to normal with war back up and running (ish). I don't think percentage based rankings is the way to go with BG, but with this past season having 40k+ players in Uru3 this past season, along with a much higher entry requirement into higher tiers than normal, it might have been good for this past season at least.

It was super tight. I did most my playing first 2 weeks. Got to arcane 2 ar highest. Would play every 2-4 days for bg objectives. Would be down to about gamma 2/3 jump back up to arcane after a couple fights. The last day it was so close did not do objectives because I was sitting in gamma 2 and 1 loss would have dropped me to gamma 3 and would have lost more bg chips so just stayed in gamma 2 and did not play.

Of course percentages is not the answer..
Kabam gives a hand.. players want an arm and a leg..
BGs are getting nerfed to the ground..
You lose points in BGs you lose your placement.. its a competition.
What's next? Win gain 15 lose 5 points?
10 seasons catering to the lower end making sure they can get some rewards making the competition dull...

It's done. I had them expand the brackets by 1.

As I said, Kabam's specific goal with season 9 was to compensate players with increased rewards to compensate for war closer. It's definitely not something I'd like to see moving forward but in hindsight rewarding 8,501 differently than 48,000+ would have seemed more in line with that intentionality.

I am not argueing that, I am argueing bracket expansion... If OP loses well play another match or 2 and get your points back...people are constantly looking for ways to change a competition into a mindless grind
