R5 Valkyrie or Kingpin for Battlegrounds?

Think Valkyrie needs it more , also she doesn’t rely on crits for damage whereas KP does, and good luck critting as often against those tankier 7 stars, that I picture KP to take longer on average against versus Valk

    I have KP at r5 and he hits perfectly fine in BGs against 7* or 6*, he's usually my top champ for attacking tbh. He also serves as a dual threat, Valk is very easy to beat in comparison.

    But it sounds like you know what you want anyway 🤷‍♂️

    KPs damage is really good, I have no clue what you are on about lol. In comparison yes, Valk has better damage output than KP but can she do anything in defense? I would rather rank up a champion that can do both damage and tank hits but it seems you have already decided on your choice so why bother asking lol

    I’m completely aware of how dominant Kingpin is and that hes a better dual threat. He was my original go to for the r5. No one else even factored in.

    It wasn’t until I witnessed this fight in BGs where the user had an r5 KP but still took this long to slay my r1 KM that I started to think that as the game goes on more and more people will have 7 stars in their deck, and the crit resistance won’t matter for Valkyrie since her dps is from damage on block.

    I have an R5 Valk and I love her to death. She is great in most metas, but KP can do all of them. I have him r4 and he does just fine, but you can't go wrong either way.

    Doesn't KM reduce damage or something? Coz tbh whenever I use kitty against him (r5 also) it usually takes me just as long to get him down. Think that fight is more a case of "non ideal match up" than it being coz he's 7* 🤷‍♂️

    I think KP is more valuable, Valk is a gimmick and gimmicks don’t need max rank. Same applies for Torch and Archangel imo.

    In my opinion this indicates the opposite. The higher stats and challenger rating are more of a hindrance to kingpin, so he will gain more benefit from the additional rank

    Cant go wrong either way. Both r slaughter machines. I have both at R5 & use them constantly. Id also recommend taking Kate Bishop for a spin. Shes wild man!! She will be my next R5 skill.

    @Ackbar67 normally i would agree with you with this kind of logic, for eg Hulkling is better than Galan, but Galan needs ascension more for his damage to finish them off.

    However in this case I think just based on the shear number of tanky 7 stars there are Valk at r5 would still be more affective against them than KP woulf at r5. Think thats why @MarvelNoob regrets the r5 KP?

    KP would definitely be the wiser r5 for fighting 6 stars though.

    He does have built in crit resistance but 6 stars still crit significantly less against 7 stars. Valkyrie would probably do imiw faster than KP or mangog/Sasquatch etc since she doesn’t need to crit to deliver damage
