I mean I'll take the 4k points but I feel bad for the cav players who have to face his full deck strength

Hmmmm save their name and let us know if they get banned after season ends. Will be interesting to know if they can actually catch people trying to farm using other methods (if that's what this person was actually doing).

Was that in GC? I ran into another similar account last season—I suspect they simply got as far as they wanted and figured they would get points from energy without the fuss of putting up a fight.

Not sure how that’s punishable if he didn’t forfeit.

Would be interesting for Jax to chime in on this. I feel like it still falls under to umbrella of "farming" since you're not really playing the mode

I see people farming every single tier in VT.
But most are playing full matches........
It's very interesting, what's the definition of exploit is going to be in kabams book.
Lmao a lot of casual players will still qualify for sus.

If you run into that just forfeit. It will make them win and hopefully progress to the next tier where farming is potentially more difficult.

but certainly not intentionally losing to gain easier matches which is what they are trying to stop.

if you are not engaging in the behavior they are trying to stop. then no issue.
jumping in to get points and gift someone a win is not "unsportsmanlike" a few seasons back it was called "santabagging" and deemed a good thing.
Unsportsmanlike behaviour is attempting to manipulate the system for your own gain at the cost of others.
tanking, deliberately losing to get easier maintain easier matchups when you should be climbing. that is unsportsmanlike

i have probably lost some matches which players would deem as sus.
but sometimes **** just happens. you have a bad round, miss blocks, push opponents to sp3.
but its not going to be ruled on one round or anything.

    its all about pattern recognition.

I agree with this stance but does Kabam? Even though it's not sandbagging or unsportsmanlike you're still giving players free wins which can potentially boost them past their ceiling. It really depends on how they want to handle all of it. I'd love to throw a bunch of 2 stars in my deck and run bgs while at work with energy to grab some points. I just don't trust it rn until they make a statement

What if that person isn’t point farming instead just trying to get the 48hs objectives done?

Had a match yesterday where they did their bans and drafts but then didn't throw a single hit. After the match, shot me a Cap emoji and went on their way. It wasn't a disconnection issue or anything of that nature. Very similar to the guy a few seasons back who was giving out free wins. Only happened once so far, but they are out there.
