AEGON BUG!

Man not feeling great about this one. I had a great first run on aegon and carried over 233 combo after I quit out. I then did the same thing next try and got hit once (saved by the proxima synergy) and then quit out before saving my combo which I was happy with. Or so I thought. I then saw that my aegon had carried over NONE of the previous attempt. Feels bad since I have wasted a 40% revive and now there is no guarantee the same thing won't happen next run so I don't know what to do :(

Ill put in a support ticket but do I just have to stay where I am until this bug is sorted or maybe the kabam support can check my fight and see I should have carried over around 180 combo and then do something about it? This matter as I really want to have a 999 combo for when I go into the omega sentinel fight.

Was so excited to go into necropolis and after an amazing first try but this has really annoyed me. I will restart the game to see if anything changes but for now it looks like this:

First attempt then quit out as I got scared as she had her unstoppable:



Then I went in again and did around 230 hits (should bank a 170 hit or so combo as my aegon is sig200) but nothing rolled over :(



I know they won't be able to directly help me but does @Kabam Miike or any of the other guys have any ideas of how to rectify this other than the support team? I freed up the whole day for this, would suck if I wasn't able to proceed with my run.

    Btw the proxima synergy saved me both times to clarify, so I don't think that could have had any impact on not carrying over my combo.

    As I said, I did that both times. First time the combo carried over, second time I got to 230 hits then clicked pause, and quit out the fight after I got saved by the proxima synergy and expected to have the total banked combo go up to 400 hits (170 that time). I know exactly how the strategy works as I made sure not to get greedy and quit out when she got her haymaker and I got nervous, but now I have just wasted a 40% revive and not to mention, there's not guarantee this won't happen next time.

    I'm guessing the people who disagreed with me don't believe me or something; I get it as there's a lot of people lying about why their accounts have been banned and stuff. Hopefully Kabam will be able to see from my fight history what's happened. If there is some other interaction I would like to hear it but I swear on my life that I did not lose my combo.

    But thats exactly what I did mate, I saved my combo by quitting out but it just didnt work the second time. As you can imagine I don't want to retry now only for this to happen again at some point :(

    It's sad because Im not the best player so likely won't be able to replicate my great attempts I just had, even if I get refunded my revive.

    Some people have also said it's due to the tranq but I thought that only affected debuff ability accuracy? If that does affect aegon's ability to carry over his combo then that's good to know for future but I really don't know if this is the case as Seatin and Andrew never mentioned it when I watched their streams so I'm very confused.

    Unfortunately, I don’t think support will be able to help with this. If I recall correctly, they can’t do a whole lot with persistent charges. I could be wrong, and hope I am for you, but you will likely either just have to take it on the chin and keep going or reset completely if you’re worried about not having the combo you need for OS.

    Hum... just did 7 test runs, and I used revives that would expire anyway in two runs and I saved my combo every single time.
    Tried 1, 2, and 4 tranquilize, saved it anyway
    Tried getting hit with combo and then after the effect expired do some extra hits and quit, it works
    Tried using revives and it worked too

    Thanks for the encouragement mate. I think the best course of action is to hope a forum moderator can tell me if support will be able to help or wait for support to come back to me. I did take the day off for this so would be a shame not to necropolis today because of this. Maybe Ill just go again and not back out and spam sp1 or something to supercharge combo.

    Damn, maybe it's a bug due to my device or I just got really really unlucky. I mainly just want kabam to acknowledge the bug and apologise, even if they can't fix it. I do spend a lot on this game so would be nice if they could fix it for me, but at the end of the day it's just one revive, however, I do need confirmation that this won't happen again for me. I would rather get a guarantee like that, as opposed to the compensation of one revive that I spent.

    All that said, I have downloaded a screen recording app in case this happens again. It might sound weird but I play really badly when on tilt due to issues not caused by me and that's why I even bothered to make this post as it might (seriously) affect the rest of my run. It's my OCD that I think it'll go badly if I don't get the perfect start. If I had to spend a revive due to a bug at the end of the run I honestly wouldn't care even 10% as much as at the start of the run.

    Thank you to the kind forum members and alliance mates who have tried to help me and calm me down a bit. And hopefully the kabam support team come back to me soon and I can post what they said here in case there's some interaction I'm missing or issue with my device that may help prepare other players.

    Does this concern mainly involve a Champion’s Ability, a Mastery skill, a Buff Node, a Synergy, or some other battle mechanic?
    What were you expecting to happen?
    What actually happened?
    Which Champion were you using? Who else was on your team?
    Which Champion were you battling against?
    Which game mode (Arena, Alliance War, Alliance Quest, etc.) did this battle occur in?
    If this battle occurred in a Story Quest or Event Quest, which one was it? (Example: “Realm of Legends”)
    If the opponent was under the effect of a Buff Node, what were those effects or the related Node number on the map?
    Were there any Boost items active during the battle?

    We have found that these details can help us to investigate concerns of this nature. If you have any screenshots or videos of the issue, please reply with those as well since they may contain details or information that can help the team to address the issue more quickly.     They clearly didn't even bother to read the ticket I sent in as I said it was in necropolis and sent screenshots explaining the problem :(

    Just one 40% and you probably did just mess up. If it really keeps on happening, record and send in a ticket. As of now no one believes you because you have no proof

    I know it was just one revive but it's more the principle. With all the dropped inputs and occasional lag this was kind of 'the straw that broke the camel's back' so to speak, as I really enjoy everest content and it's a personal challenge for me to do it in as few revives as possible. I ramped aegon to 999 and nothing like that happened again.

    I know I didn't mess up though as I actively quit out before even getting hit as I got scared of titania's unstoppable/unblockable. It's just frustrating is all. I get that it's hard to believe people on the forums, but I've never lied about anything on the forums before and I'm an honest person (didn't double dip in victory track rewards, nor did I explore paragon gauntlet again for double rewards, for example.)

    Thus, I hope people wouldn't have reason not to believe me as I'm a decently skilled player and if you look at my post history I do praise kabam where I think they deserve it and is not one of those people continually crying on the forums or saying 'their account got banned for no reason etc'.

    Anyway, I really wish I was going for a mythic run or something and recorded it, just so I could have proof, but oh well. On GOD, I am telling the truth here. And if anyone still doesn't believe me, well I hope you get this bug and many others so you can experience the misery first hand.
