Question about difficulty of Necropolis

BladeZero81BladeZero81 Member Posts: 94
So I'm getting ready to do my first run of Necropolis within the next few days. I'm just curious how difficult is it, compared to just being time consuming? This is my first ever everst content. Here's my team

6* R4 aegon 200 sig
6* proxy
6* heimdall
7* R1 awakened Wiccan
Debating on who to use as 5th ( fury, doom, or 7* shuri)

    Shuri.
Contrary to the current thinking of the Titania path being the easiest, I thought the Mr Fantastic path was much easier for ramping up Aegon and getting easy Shuri wins. I used that exact team and ended up taking Aegon to rank 5 and ascending him mid run to make it easier on myself.

For difficulty, I guess that depends on what you find difficult. It's not so much like "whoa this is a true test of my reflexes, skills, and mastery of a character", it's more a "wow this is annoyingly unpredictable behavior, occasionally gimpy controls, and the nodes make it worse". Little things like Air-Walker's timer reset on stand-up rather than knockdown make it more difficult in the way I hate. Time-consuming is fine by me as long as the fight doesn't feel cheapened by factors outside of my control.

Thank you! Based on what I've been reading and watching, it just seems time consuming but not overall super difficult. I think I'll bring shuri as my 5th then. I think I might start in a couple days. I mainly just want to do first completion for the road to crypt rewards and then go for 100% later. I'll keep everything in mind though

I'd recommend farming 5.4.6 for extra revives before they nerf it in january

I've been debating which path (titania or Mr.F) to start ramping up aegon on. As you mentioned, people call titania the easier path, but are the any particular reasons you say Mr.F is the better one? First time I've seen anyone say this & just looking for some extra insight

It was much easier for me to get Aegon ramped up against Mr F and Namor (if Mr F dies too fast) than it was against Titania. Namor and Attuma easily get wrecked by Shuri.

Which fights would you use Shuri for aside from Namor and Attuma?

I have a friend that recommended starting on the Mr fantastic path for that very reason and then switching back to the Tatiana path at guardian which I'm considering doing myself once in figure out if that's the best idea or not

I'd recommend taking fury, killing him for bonus 20% damage.
That's free damage right there, Aegon runs is literally DO DAMAGE TILL YOU DIE.

I do my run now in mrF path i stuck to air johnny walker right now.I have r4 ascent aegon proxima heimdall jaggs and shuri 7* r2
Easy build up on mrF (just don't put him in the wall) esay sp's to evade even you're rooted or not.Shuri totally cancel against the ropes node cause her attacks are non contact so you can easily go cap namor attuma cap britain etc

Bring Shuri. She is great for captain Britain, Wiccan, and psycho man. I’m of average skill for Everest content and did most of them in 1 revive

Yeh, that would not be average skill. But congrats, that's really good.
