Rintrah's Neutralize Not Working on Archangel Bug?

So I'm playing through the Thronebreaker Event Quest, Chapter 2 Quest 2, and the class node for this quest was oriented around Mystic champs, something like "When a Mystic attacker prevents a buff from happening or nullifies it, they gain a Fury." right?

So I bring in my Rintrah, since his Neutralize mechanic is perfect for that. However, after going to the path with Archangel, the easy path, the neutralize won't trigger, at all. It should have a 50% chance to do so, but after numerous attempts, I can't even land a single hit on AA that activates the neutralize. Is this something AA has in his kit? Is this a bug? Does this happen against any AA fight with Rintrah or just in the EQ? I'm really confused. I don't know if this helps but just in case, my Rintrah is 5* Maxed out, sig 200 and isn't ascended.

Anyone else having a similar issue?

(Edit: Nevermind, I found out that any effects that reduce ability accuracy can't work on AA. I'm just stupid)

aa is immune to ability accuracy modification, neutralize just lowers ability accuracy to 0 in pretty sure

Alright. I see. I know that he is immune to AA reduction, but does that include Neutralize effects? Like does he lower the effectiveness on the opponent?

AA is immune to flat out AAR like domino, and any effect that inflicts AAR like neutralize or concussion

It just doesn't work since he's immune to reduction
