Overrated or underrated: Kindred

So, I just pulled him today from a grandmaster crystal. He is pretty cool, the design and special animations look cool and he is in general, fun to play and has some cool utility (after I tested him in some matches). But I've seen a mixed reception to this champion and he isn't talked about all that much. Most people say he's pretty mediocre (at least on attack).

    I don't find him a trouble in defense? He can be played around, unlike maestro, so you don't need a specific counter. Just try to stay away from him and don't let the degens stack on you, still those degens don't deal huge damage unless they stack a lot, and his root, can be played around by having a bar of power.

    Why ppl are too afraid of him in defense?Am I missing something?

    Ironic that you mentioned Maestro as having no counters to play around his mechanics, cuz Kindred is a perfect counter against him. #Atrophy 🙂

    Nah I meant, you need a perfect counter like kindred or mojo against maestro.
    But against kindred, you don't need a specific counter, you can play around those degens, But having a counter helps
    That's the difference I want to point out, as someone compared mephisto with kindred, Mephisto really needs a counter as playing around without a counter is really tough, but kindred don't need one.
