Blade’s nerf.

If you think about it, blade bows down to no one. There isn’t a good AW boss that can actually be a “Boss”. Blade with danger sense is too OP. What I’m asking here is for a nerf, take away his ability reduction, or remove his heal. Something that’ll make him on par with other champions of this game. He is the new “SW” before 12.0.

Just because you went to great lengths to get him, doesn’t mean he isn’t too OP. It’s a fact. Everyone is trying for him, just like everyone do with SW. and those that have him, use him for everything, just like they did with SW. blade needs a nerf and I hope kabam thinks about it.

In general I hate nerf threads. People who don't have the champ shouldn't be trying to ruin other people's fun. And many spent an enormous amount of 5* shards and money on featured crystals to get him. Some have spent thousands of dollars getting him.

It wouldn't be fair nerfing him to the many who spent a fortune getting him.

But....he needs to be adjusted for the good of the game before we get into another SW/BW/THOR situation where Kabam needs to jump through 100 hoops just to be able to design content to limit him.

The Blade/Sparky/Ghostrider synergy is way too OP. Maybe they can adjust the synergy instead of nerfing him directly.

It's funny how Kabam nerfed the God Tiers in 12.0 but then we're almost right back to where we were almost a year ago.

Umm first, danger sense doesnt apply to all champions. You have to have other champs for that to be modified so he doesn’t stand alone in that characteristic. Second he doesn’t heal unless a signature ability has be activated. So he can bleed and danger sense on mystical beings? That’s what you want to nerf? Switch can bleed,poison, regen, power steal, power lock and stun? How is blade and her in same convo? Sure if you are lucky enough to dupe him and have appeased the Kabam gods with your monetary offerings you can heal. Otherwise you need other champs to boost his abilities. The power gain is dismal and his bleed damage is very low. Do you have a blade or just mad at others who do?

Who says I don’t have him? Obviously I know what I’m talking about because I’ve tested him out. There are too many op champs, but blade just stand out too much.

he doesn't need a nerf. as someone who has him, he isn't even the obvious r5 option for me (but a strong contender). His danger sense doesn't apply to half the champs in the game, and you need specific champ synergies for it to apply to the other half. Without danger sense, he's a lot weaker. Against a bleed immune, he is weaker. It is hard to regenerate when you are fighting an aggressive enemy with high attack. His ability reduction is only 45%(?) which isn't that amazing. I use him against 5.4 ultron with spark and GR for synergies and I still have to use a decent number of revives because Ultron still evades and does the immediate strikeback (you are dead when this happens). Using the same synergy against modok, he auto blocks a lot less but not zero. With a champ like AA or GP, you have a much better and more reliable ability reduction. He's good, but not THAT good that he needs any kind of nerf.

At his most powerful, you would need to have spark, ghost rider/ mephisto/ dorm and also bring them with you on your team, and he is great for that villain or dimensional being boss fight, but you still have to fight your way there, and if you are like me, you're doing it with a 3* GR who is just taking up a slot.

Mh2804 yes its a great champ and yes makes some parts of the game easier. But also Magik is great or GR or Iceman or DV or GP or AA and all of them have to be nerfed? All this champs makes the game more OP and we don’t want more nerfs in this game. People are more happy with good champs and this has been a good year of new releases. Just enjoy playing with them!

Just save up your 5* shards and try to get him like everyone else in February. Then you'll change your tune. He is fine as he is. There should be champs in the game that everyone pines after, unless you're a fan of mediocrity. He should not be touched.

it's laughable to even think blade compares to pre 12.0 sw.

also dormammu still works well as a boss against him, there's just less of a chance of that stupid, unavoidable, cheap degen.

R5 5* Blade took 413 hits against RHulk in Labryinth. I went up against SL instead and he took 1,200. He is definitely not too OP, OP. He's great against a subset. He's good against erebody else. Don't change him. Give me a synergy against heroes and boy its ON!!!

Blade is good only with stark and GR in the team. Without is a normal champ

First he requires you to bring precise champs for synergy which limits your ability to do other things with your synergy (especially in war). He is good against the excessive BS of some villains/mystics. He is average against most defense characters that no one has any trouble with and the antmans of the world. Is he OP vs spidey? OP vs NC? He is NOT OP. Is he OP vs iceman/ice phoenix? Even vs mephisto he burns if you get too impatient. He appears OP because is filling a niche of baloney sandwiches that are not fair. Things in video games need some semblance of balance. He IS the balance/ the counter to some nonsense that was created on the defensive side.

He shouldn't be changed. Been fighting 4/55 Magiks all freaking day in Arena. Unavoidable damage from Limbo is garbage every time you cross a power bar. Nerf Blade? OK. Nerf Mystic Dispersion and the garbage that this character was clearly created to deal with

All OP is seeing is that he excels against certain champs and that displeases him. He isn't really being objective. I'll bet he has a mystic AW defense team that has been getting torn up lately.

@MH2804 WTF is wrong with you. Blade is NOT OP. Blade is very dupe/synergy dependent. He can very well be a good champ on his own but not OP on his own. There is nothing in your post that I agree with. My feeling is that you have Magik and invested units and money in MD and are tired of her getting beat by Blade. There is something in this game called strategy and using Blade against dimensional beings is part of that strategy. No different than using a 4/55 Magik on boss node in AW because of what she can do. His synergy with Mephisto activates danger sense for all mystics. You have to figure out whats more important when selecting a AW team. GR and Stark Spidey, GR and Mephisto or Start and Mephisto. I personally take Blade, stark and GR. Doesn't mean i am going to kill everyone in my path. Stop all this talk about nerfing blade.

How did blade do for you on the poison path on the way to mephisto? How did stark and GR (yes GR could handle the one node where the poison was only when you punched a block) do on those for you that you had to bring along? I would HOPE there is a counter to every character in the game. Magik beats the hell out of second line war machine. Like 5 kicks sp3 and the fight is over. Should that be nerfed? It is a good matchup. Should there be no good matchups for mephisto? Everyone in the game just needs to have iceman or starlord or just man up and avoid the fire? The ability reduction is not 100% like old school BW. It requires more than showing up and stun locking a guy in the corner with SW.

This will be short.

Counters: bleed immune. No synergy will help against non villian non mystic. Need 4 in a synergy for all villains and all mystics. Not an absolute even with those.

SW could go into ANY fight and not have an issue. Blade is NOTHING LIKE THAT.

Asking for a blade nerf will result in unexpected consequences. If you remember the 12.0 nerf then a bunch of the good champs will be put in line too. Also someone will come along even stronger and people will just complain about that one. And blade wouldn't get so much attention if science champs (besides quake) did there job against mystics.

I have 4/55 blade and love him but he isn't the answer to everything, the way old sw, ds or bw used to be. People should be asking for defensive champ nerfs not offense. Modok, hyperion, and Memphisto come to mind.

He was designed to not be nerfed in the near future, so he technically doesn't need a nerf since he is working as intended.
There are many champions in the game, they can't all have the same power level and utility than others. There are champions that do what Blade do, but better than him. However they don't have as many abilities that Blade has.

Blade doesn't hold a candle to prenerf SW. He's not "op" at all. Get over yourself. He's a great champion, so why wouldn't everyone want him?
