    Basically a totem is a being imbued with the power of a specific animal across the multiverse, spiderman and all the spider people are spider totems for example. Shathra is the original being that creates wasp /spiderwasp totems to hunt for spider totems

    I think she's awesome as a spider-verse villain, but the connection with the inheritors and their retcons into being from the species of leeches instead of vampires is just unnecessary. She should be her own thing disconnected to the inheritors.

    a good comic book shop may have the back issues or they can probably hook you up with the relevant End of the Spider-Verse trade paperbacks, failing that, Amazon search for 'End of the Spider-verse'.
