cant join war after moving to new alliance

I moved to a new alliance with few friends, and it doesn't let us join war.
We moved last night and waited for the current war to end, but it still doesn't let us place with a message "you joined the alliance after today's quest started", but i joined 14 hours ago and there are still 3 hours left for matching process.
without participating in this war, we'll miss the lockout for AW season rewards.
