So if the whole concept of this new bg season was to get more players to play,. I personally enjoy the game mode but if you play enough and hit plat 2 its basically unplayable to "win" and gain the extra points so hitting those milestones would take really long. I dont know if anyone else feels the same but burning all my energy to gain like 1k toward milestones feels lame.

Reasoning why I say its unplayable is because at plat 2 you start facing those heavy hitter accounts so as a cavalier player it feels lame to go versus knowing there is less than like 1% chance u can win.

Another issue is hitting plat 2, it sends you back to like silver so you technically can play and win until which is where i got my first set of points by playing but you technically miss out on the wins in bronze which could've given full victory points with the elder's marks. My first time playing last season I managed to hit like 200k points before plat 2 slowing my down, now i'm at like 100k and slowed down.

Anyone else has this issue or is the solution just "get better and then i can play the mode"?

They don't care they said you're supposed to beat theses accounts because they don't want the rewards to come for free , but all those bigger accounts get free victories everyday they sit in lower ranks farming points meanwhile the game is dying but kabam really believes the solution is to gatekeep the smaller accounts, they changed the rewards and now is way more lucrative to camp and farm points is unplayable there's no reason to play against an account 3 times bigger than yours you lose before it's even started that's the way kabam found out to keep the people who throw money away in a mobile game that doesn't even work properly otherwise no would be playing AI is garbage ,they can't make an AW season enjoyable to play , BG matchmaking is terrible you either beating a way smaller account our getting trashed by a whale account

The truth is that the only way to compete is to strengthen your deck.

Last season I had 4 R5s and some ascended R4s. This season I have seven 200 sig R5s, 6 of them ascended and it makes a huge difference.

Started in P3, and after 8 fights and 7 wins, I'm now in P1. Yesterday I met a TB who was very good, he only had ascended 5/65s and R3s in his deck. I won both rounds with about 1000 points. If he had as strong defenders/attackers as me, he would crush me. I have been on the other side of that situation in every season, so I understand the frustration. You face mediocrity, but lose because the difference between R3s/ascended 5/65s and R5s is huge, and can rarely be equalized by skill.

Only 8.4.6 left, then there will be 2-3 new R5s and 1-2 7R2s, then we can really start competing 👻

brother did you even read the issue? I don't care about titan shards, I'd just like the obtaining of 6 star shards not feel impossible

You can get decent 6* shards by just playing the game mode. Don't expect you can do every gamemode. Same why you probably can't do necropolis at this point. Grow your account further and explore some story with the energy you used.. more luck there and after you can join the big guys

Nah I get this, my issue is why can you not demote? because I hit p2 I'm faced with these matches and the downside is I also started ranks higher than my first run, so in return I gain less win points than the first time I played it, and I can't demote to play "fair matches"

I can get your point. Wait for sometime may be 1 more week. It will get better, for now almost every player in platinum. So there is high chance you to face high tier account. And also after Act8.4 almost every Paragon becomes valiant too.

TBH increase your roster and skil if you want to grow in this game. Speaking of 6* shards. If you started in bronze 2 then you should get decent amount of 6* shards..

If you could demote tiers to get easier matches, wouldn't that be point farming? Not to mention, with the updated solo rewards, what would stop some of the massive accounts from doing the same thing?
