Sentry Buff

Sentry is one of the most powerful characters in the Marvel Universe and went toe to toe with Hulk in the comics. Sadly in game he is nothing like this. According to Kabam Mike the key to Sentry is "momentum" and that he is "great in longer fights". He also stated " It may only be a 30% chance per cycle, but that 30% can make a world of difference". There have been multiple videos posted vs ROL WS of a r4 Sentry taking over 600 hits to defeat him... 600. Where does that show he's great in longer fights? If anything it demonstrates how much of an impact that 30% chance has on him. His states benefits aren't proccing very often and when they do they aren't providing enough to be worth the amount of hits taken to proc one. For crying out loud Carnage could do it in less than 600 hits at r4 and the game devs at comic con even acknowledged he could do with a buff. His chances to proc a single state are simply too low for him to make any significant impact in longer fights. In shorter fights it's much less noticeable and isn't as bad if RNG is kind to you. I personally would like to see his chances to proc a state increased as it would make him the champion that Kabam Mike described! Even a 50% chance to proc the benefits of the states would be good or for every benefit of a state he misses he increases the chance to proc the next one. While I understand the difficulty to balance one of the most powerful characters in Marvel in his current state he's only worth ranking for prestige and fun nothing else. Please consider buffing him for longer fights as he is nothing like expected. This is not a post meaning to diss Kabam or their devs just providing some constructive criticism and feed back for personally one of my favourite characters and the favourite of many out there. If you do read this thank you for taking the time and I implore you to take it into consideration.

I’ve noticed in longer fights like in rol ws states don’t proc very little(which is why it takes 509 hits) but while I use him in questing he procs 1-2 times in a 2 min period

While I agree that he badly needs a buff, the problem with testing on WS is that he goes into the fight without 5 reality warps. You need 40 hours to build a warp and 5 makes it 200 hits..

Let's assume he is duped and you're on a quest and entering the fight with 5 warps.. Guess what, he still sucks because his bonus in every state procs only 30% of the time and in my testing over 50 matches, it overall feels like 10%. I'm taking a r2 5* against a r4 rhino and almost every single match he proc only once at best, sometimes zero and sometimes but very rarely twice. 30% is terrible, make it much higher.

He needs buffing, there are so many options that are easy to implement.. No mechanics to change, just tweak the stats.. For example, increase proc from 30% to 60% (i feel it should even be higher than that). Or, leave it at 30% but bump up his regular non boosted attack damage so people can stop calling him a worse version of pillow hands then Luke cage (who at least has immunities). At least make it decent if he's almost never getting the bonus.

Or, increase his crit rate. Or, lower the number of hits to gain a reality warp.. 40 is way too many. So many options.. Really...

He is definitely underwhelming. Carnage 2.0... Not sure why kabam makes some of the most powerful champs in the marvel universe some of the weakest in there game.

Yeah he would be awesome for long fights if the Proc chance was higher. 30% is just bs. So unreliable. Even if it was 100%, it wouldn’t make him op, as a lot of other champs can hit just as hard, if you made him as a lol killer, than follow through
