I'm looking ahead to the next couple of seasons of BattleGrounds but somewhere I often struggle is translating nodes into effective champions.

Currently I have the following Champions at R2 (R3 are Shang Chi and Venom)


I'm currently working to get the Mystic CCs to R3 Werewolf.

I have the resources to take a Science champ and a Mutant champ to R2 - my plan was Silk and Domino but I'm cautious if they're the best choices:


I wonder whether QuickSilver would be good as a defender since he's #HouseOfMirrors - but I counter that by thinking that any #Clarity champ would pretty well completely shut him down...Spot isn't Awakened but I guess he could be another option, but only on defence until I can get his sig up.

Beyond that I have the following other 7*s


(Again, bottom row are not awakened)

I've got a few options for the Saga rankup once that comes around from the Objective line, but Black Cat is probably my top choice atm. Who else should I be prioritising?

    I don’t have too much wisdom to impart, but I agree with ranking up black cat with the saga gem and silk as your science.

    For those who did high enough tier AW to really experience these #Clarity and #HouseofMirrors nodes - how important are they overall? I'm really trying to think whether it's best to focus the next few rankups on Saga champions to really benefit from the nodes...

    I'm definitely not high AW. But for my experience in Tier 3, if you have a saga attacker and can play slow enough to get the clarity up, then the defense tactic means nothing. But if you don't bring a saga attacker (or someone else with true strike to get around it) then all those small percentage chances seem to happen every time. Here's looking at you arcade, autoblocking (and parrying) the first hit of an intercept on the stun reflect mini.
    However a bunch of the saga attackers and defenders are great champs to rank up anyway. Guardian, FAM, shuri, QS, scorp, Black cat, Venom, crossbones, hype and there are a bunch of others.
    So I would say don't rank a champ you hate just because they are saga as there are plenty of saga champs that are great.

    the victory track node gives u a true strike when u intercept the opponent (dont know for how long), so it should counter quite a few of the tactic defenders
