An idea of the class remixes I use

In my two character posts, and in future ones, I will be using my own version of the classes that better fit my own characters and how my worlds work. These classes mash up aspects of MCOC and FTF, that's why ranged attacks are sometimes listed. Anyway, here's one of the six of my remixed classes

**TECH ⚙️**


*Overview*

Ever since the very first invention, technology has made our lives simpler and greater. From arms, to augments, to communications and to transportation, there is nothing tech can't do. Inventors, robots, augmented warriors and more use this knowledge to their advantage.


*Traits*

The Tech class is mostly defensive, using their abilities to diffuse threats and keep themselves alive. They use ranged attacks predominantly for either defense, offense, or utility.


*Offensive Abilities*

• Shock effects that deal energy damage over time, countered by few characters

• Ranged Damage/Speed buffs ensure victory and success from afar

• Breach effects add extra damage


*Defensive Abilities*

• Fortify effects provide overall damage reduction

• Auto-Block is great for emergency coverage

• Power Control effects manipulate the opponent out of Special Attacks

• Tech characters can uniquely affect the damage of a Special Attack, furthering their survivability


*Relationships*

With their dependence on Fortify, ranged attacks, and power control, Tech characters are easily defeated by those in the Celestial Class. However, their usage of said power control, reduction of Special Attack damage, and their unique use of Shock grant them an edge over Elementals


*Other Notes*

• Tech characters will likely have extra tricks up their sleeve, activated by performing specific actions

• Tech characters will sometimes have low Crit Chance

    **SCIENCE**🧪


    *Overview*

    Around the world science is used to answer the questions we couldn't before, and alleviate the problems we have now. And no matter what solution or answer is brought to the table, it's bound to get results. Scientists, experiments, and serum-infused individuals happen to be these answers


    *Traits*

    Science characters are both offensive and defensive, but have a defensive playstyle. They play it slow, outlasting and whittling down the enemy with consistent damage and survivability


    *Offensive Abilities*

    • Passive boosts to melee damage grant extra strength without the threat of nullification

    • Seldom use of Poison and Acid effects reduce the survivability of the enemy

    • Backfire debuffs punish the use of Special Attacks with damage


    *Defensive Abilities*

    • Passive boosts to Physical and Energy Resistance increase overall durability

    • High Block Proficiency provides good damage reduction than before with blocking

    • Debuffs that downgrade offensive stats give alternate protection from those who can bypass resistances


    *Relationships*

    Science characters have no protection against direct damage, and with their dependence on resistances and block proficiency, the Skill class can easily counter them. However, these resistances, lack of buffs, and use of debuffs give an edge against the Arcane class.


    *Other Notes*

    • Characters in this class may have above average stats

    • Sometimes Science characters are immune to nullification effects

    **CELESTIAL** ✨


    *Overview*

    Nothing is greater in power than the cosmos, and its grand horrific treasures. It is an untameable beast, with power far beyond our reckoning. And yet, cosmic beings and sorcerers have not only matched it's power, but mastered it.


    *Traits*

    Celestial characters are both offensive and defensive, but are more aggressive in playstyle. Their goal is to build up their full power and obliterate the enemy with their stellar might


    *Offensive Abilities*

    • Offensive buffs to upgrade overall strength

    • Anti-Armor effects for getting through defenses

    • Unblockable buffs to upkeep an offensive playstyle


    *Defensive Abilities*

    • Immunity to Power Control so Special Attacks are easier to throw

    • Defensive buffs to upgrade overall survivability

    • Unstoppable and Reflect abilities deny offense from afar


    *Relationships*

    Celestial characters rely heavily on buffs, Breach effects, and usually use an aggressive playstyle, leaving them open to the nullification and mind games of the Arcane class. However, they excel against the Tech class with their anti-armor abilities, Unblockable and Unstoppable buffs.

    • Celestial characters may have powerful Special 3's

    **ARCANE** 🔮


    *Overview*

    The supernatural is often unexplainable, too foreign to be understood. Though many delve into it's enigmatic depths, the supernatural world is one that still has much to be explored. Psychics, Warlocks, mystic beings, and those armed with magical artifacts all fill this class.


    *Traits*

    Arcane class characters focus more on versatility and usefulness, rather than damage or defense. They manipulate the opponents strengths, and use their unorthodox abilities to win the fight.


    *Offensive Abilities*

    • A variety of debuffs and effects to smother the opponent

    • Specific damage over time effects that can't truly be countered

    • Gaining power over time allows them to spam special attacks to rack up damage


    *Defensive Abilities*

    • Regeneration to take back health that they've lost

    • Reduction of overall damage with Protection

    • Nullification of buffs removes many threats off the opponent


    *Relationships*

    Arcane class characters' usage of regeneration, nullification, and power gain give them a disadvantage against the many debuffs and resistances of the Science class. But they're specialization of buff manipulation coupled with their use of damage over time effects make them a great adversary against those in the Celestial class


    *Other Notes*

    • Characters in this class have below average defensive and sometimes offensive stats.

    **SKILL** ⚔️


    *Overview*

    A true warrior needs only their discipline and instinct to be great. They use their training and willpower to overcome the odds, and achieve victory. Martial artists, bounty hunters, soldiers and more capitalize on these capabilities.


    *Traits*

    Skill class characters require greater talent to use, specializing in Critical Hits, Block Penetration, and Direct Damage. This can be applied through either ranged or melee damage.


    *Offensive Abilities*

    • Focus and Cruelty effects amplify the effectiveness of critical hits

    • Potent Block Penetration via effects or passive abilities

    • Bleed effects to bypass armor and resistances


    *Defensive Abilities*

    • Purification and manipulation of debuffs

    • Parry provides a keep-away option when backed against the corner

    • Seldom use of Evade, instantly dodging or sidestepping attacks.


    *Relationships*

    The use of purification, Bleed, and Critical Hits leave Skill characters vulnerable to the critical resistances and anti-purification abilities of Mutants. However, they do work well against the Science class, bypassing their normal resistances and tons of debuffs


    *Other Notes*

    •Some Skill characters rely on the Combo Meter for abilities, requiring a higher level of skill

    **ELEMENTAL** 🌍


    *Overview*

    The forces of nature are perhaps one of the scariest yet greatest parts of our reality. They demolish whatever's in their way, but at the same time, cultivate and evelate our world to a higher state. Characters who can manipulate the forces of nature make up this class


    *Traits*

    Elemental characters are mostly offensive, specializing in augmented special attacks and anti-purification abilities.


    *Offensive Abilities*

    • Prowess effects boost the power of Special Attacks to quickly defeat the opponent

    • Abilities that punish or prevent the use of Purify to keep the opponent down

    • Abilities that counter Evade ensure every hit counts

    • Special Attacks can sometimes be Unblockable, making Parry abilities useless


    *Defensive Abilities*

    • Elementals have special abilities or defenses that punish close combat and contact attacks, making it harder to approach them.

    • Immunities to many effects provides a special protection that can't be rivaled

    • Critical Resistance and/or Bleed resistance through the usage of the elements themselves


    *Relationships*

    With their armor, advanced blocks, and power control, the Tech class has a massive advantage over the Elemental class. However, the Skill class with their Critical Hits, Parry abilities, and Bleed effects cannot stand against an Elemental dragons critical resistances and Unblockable Special Attacks


    *Other Notes*

    • Some Elemental characters will have abilities that mess with the opponents Combo Meter.

    Quick note, in the Skill Class comment at the Relationships section, it's not supposed to say Mutant. It's supposed to say Elemental.
