So we all have a tendency to forget about something. Anyone have a specific matchup, scenario or node that you have a tendency to completely forget about?

For ex
Hitting Mordo after he is stunned
Forgetting to choose the correct Scorpion pre fight
Intercepting Rhino
Using Human Torch against an incinerate immune without the pre fight
Trying to dex undexable specials like P2099

Yes! All the time for champs where you can't punish their specials eg kindred's sp1.

My thought process when up against the unblockable opener node:
1: Okay this fight has unblockable opener, just back off for 6 seconds then play normally. Easiest node in the game.
2: Read all the other nodes and enter the fight, forgetting about unblockable opener because it’s the easiest node in the game.
3: Attempt my normal parry on fight start and get kicked in the face.

I don’t even usually die from it because most champs can’t threaten lethal damage that early, it just deals immense mental damage.

My recommendation is to spam on the right of the screen and do a 5 hit combo. It works pretty much 100% of the time for me.

I think it’s still possible, don’t use coldsnap pre fight, use caltrops pre fight instead. Might be slower though

That’s what I always do. I throw the first sp1, see “immune” pop up and then it hits me. I just switch to caltrops and then it’s fine, but it’s the not remembering part that gets me lol
