defenders are resisting heavy attacks and parry stun you in BG and AW

I am recently facing a new issue for quite some time that defenders in aw and BG are able to resist your heavy attack (via stand your ground mastery i think) even while under parry stun and then that resist heavy is counted as parry so now you are stunned and as a result they are able to kill you... in aw still the parry stun is short but in GC due to extend node parry stun is so long they are able to do 10 hit combos which for sure kill you...
is this normal... i never saw it before this month

    It is normal indeed.
    If a defender parries your heavy, it is a block + well timed. So SYG will trigger along with parry stun.

    Yeah but he says this is happening while the defender is stunned which shouldn’t happen because SYG should only work while the defender is blocking

    Was the stun icon almost over? There's been a bug for a long time where sometimes the stun icon is longer than the actual stun effect.

    SYG just says it resists the break block while you're blocking, not that it causes a well timed block as well, which would trigger parry. I'm guessing SYG is affected by the hitting into block causes parry issue that's still sometimes going on

    Another example of visual delay in game.
    It's predictable. Don't over estimate parry timers.
    I can't control the visual delay. But I can control when I use a heavy.

    So this is gone all back to the AI being super responsive ninja. Recovers faster then they should. Because when they are stunned they are stunned, can hit them plenty, but then they recover like a machine.
