Battlegrounds Rank getting skipped?

I have just ranked up from Battlegrounds Vibranium 2 to 1 but went straight to Uru I restarted my device shows Vibranium 1 with 1 medal then changes to Uru. I went into a fight thinking it was a visual bug but the game has me under updating and I'm fighting uru opponents. Anyone else have this issue?
