Arena and most weekly events are outdated.

The game is progressing and new things is added like higher rated champions like 5 star champions and soon 6 star champions but a few main core things in the game remains untouched, like the arena and the weekly events.

Arena
Since the start of this game until the release of 5 star champions, there has been a possibility to get the highest rated champion as a reward from the arena. Soon 6 star is coming and still after almost 3 years the highest reward is a 4 star.

Weekly events
There has been almost no changes to weekly events since forever and the reward system is still 4 star champion focused

Crystal Prices
2-4 star crystal = 100 units
3-5 star crystal = 200 units (100% increase)
4-6 star crystal = 400 units?

What im getting at is that Kabam increased the price with 100% while keeping the same amount of units rewards in Arena/Weekly events.

Am i alone in thinking there should be an update that matches the progress in the game since the start??

    Actually, I just said something very similar to this to my Alliance on Line. I have done a bit of programming and I think it is very doable to make an algorithm that would be most beneficial to players of different tiers. Something that would register players struggling to get 4* (put in one bracket/category), players with strong 2* and building 3*, players with a strong grouping of 4* and struggling to get 5*, and those who are well on the way with 5* waiting for 6* to come out.

    Sure, because it is more programming with the chance of glitches, many people might complain that it wouldn’t be in the best interest to do something like that; but I’m thinking that just because someone starts and can’t devote a mass amount of time on the game then get put in with the hardcore gamers that spend every waking (if even they sleep) hour playing, they will get no chance of getting any of the food rewards. Prime example of all the accounts that have been dropped because they couldn’t keep up with the rest once the “honeymoon” period was over.

    I think you draw out the timeline and reasoning quite well. I would go as far to say, most year or older players would strongly agree. Arena grind is becoming pointless, considering you only can go so far with your 4 stars. Short of collecting, the rewards need to get updated.

    I have no doubt that a 5* Arena will come in the future. No proof for sure, but I just feel it's a natural step. I can't say I agree with the pricing because things have a value in the game. The one Arena that comes to mind that needs rethought the most for me, is Catalyst Clash. I've suggested for some time now that they add Frag Crystals to the Milestones at some point, whether it's the last or not. I think the Ascendant is good, but the rates are low, and it ends up being 1.5 Mil for ISO. I wouldn't really suggest 1.5 Mil for a T4CC, but it would be helpful to have some type of revision.

    Agreed. 4 mill for a t4cc perhaps? Those who have a surplus of it can skip that arena, but for some players, it’s a good stepping stone.

    I said something like this to my Alliance earlier this week. As well as making 5* and/6* arenas.
