Was the double track rushed

Double track launched with tokens instead of tickets but the promotion image also had token and loyalty crystal shards(?). Then there's the case of platinum track not being changed at all from the previous one even though the economy has progressed. So did any thought even go into this one? I usually enjoy these battle pass esque events but this one looks especially low effort

    I’ve decided the Paragon crystals and other items in the double track are merely a visual error. It’s much better than it looks.
