  Considering all the hits, I don't think they paused. Maybe between willpower and his own regen, he healed all the damage he took?

  Yes, you did everything that you're supposed to do in a fight...except read the nodes. You can only deal damage through crits in the gladiators circuit. iDoom can't crit.
