SQ - when it doubt, do nothing. (Lesson from the 5 ticket banquet penalty)

If you are like me and taking the 5 banquet ticket penalty for accidentally playing the game in the wrong time window and assuming keys and such were released in sync with the event - here’s the lesson I learned.

Look at the timers. If it’s not less than 7 days in the objective or the event, do nothing. Don’t be proactive. Don’t think the design of things being gifted or unlocked matters. Assume it’s all a trap. Don’t get tricked into enjoying the game and playing it. Just sit on everything you can and block out hours on the final weekend to compete it. But even then it’s not that easy - as you have expiring timers through the month. Just make sure you do the bare minimum. Err on the presupposition that they don’t want you playing side quest.

If I did this, would have 5 more banquet tickets than I have now. Stupid me played the game.

Agreed, nowadays calculus seems more simple than these side quest designs, lol.

Highly doubt that works in my situation - I burned a key like the first or second day. Exited out. What do I tell support? “Yeah, uh…. so…. I went through the previous weeks doing exploration on autopilot. Turns out I should have left one unexplored and explored the last one since the rewards were substantially better and exclusive?”

But thank goodness I have all these extra bounty missions that are yet to be unlocked by the timer. 🙃

It works. I've seen atleast 3 people getting it back via support. It's worth a shot.

Also, to get elite bounty using regular bounty missions, you just have to defeat the defender but not to complete the quest, so you can defeat let's say, vox, and quit out, do it 5 times to get elite bounty ticket.

Yes but many people cannot claim the 5 tickets from the objective to complete the SQ 3 times, as there were only exactly enough keys for 3 entries each week

This is my problem. I have the 4 elite bounty missions done. Can’t get to the 5th one because I can’t complete the objective.

May try the ticket route… but if they are giving out the item to fix it, they should give everyone an extra key - that’s all we need since we have 2 left in the calendar

Update: @captain_rogers was correct. Even for my scenario, support restored my lost infernal summons. If you are missing one, think you will likely get it back by contacting support.

Well they just gave 2 inferral summons for free lol

Poor technical support must have been getting overwhelmed

I'm a bit confused about the side quest tickets.
I've explored all the weekly maps and completed the Elite Bounty Missions enough times to pick up the 5x Banquet Tickets but I have 1 side quest ticket remaining and will pick up another in a couple of days from the calendar.
Do I get to repeat the side quests claim additional resources e.g. 33,750 mysterium?

Yes, you can load up on Mysterium and clean out the store once you’ve done all elite bounties

I have 68 but missed the 5 in the final milestone in the gold track, would that affect my chances of getting Mr. Sinister?

No, there are 129 available and you only need 100 to get Sinister.
