There are a few issues with the current battlegrounds season
1. The rewards have reverted back to normal, no banquet tickets, normal solo and alliance BGS rewards
2. The meta this season gives defenders too much advantage
3. Many people have expressed burnout after last season BGS blitz realm event and have decided to take a break this season

    Really mid rewards as usual, extremely frustrating meta but only playing because I want that emote, missed cap salute but not gonna miss goblin gg even tho he's not as good...

    Despite the "normal rewards" everyone knows, its a fun and enjoyable mode where ,if you're not really fighting pvp against someone, you are doing a "chess strategy game", that you need to create a deck, choose your title wisely, as some put Uncollected, or to bring Thing to the final 8 champs and the rival lost one or two entries with skill champs, and many more tactics.

    So, no need to play as in the realm thing, but there are BG milestones to achieve.

    This just endorses that Realm events was a great idea.

    I’ll get to the GC, play 1 match, season over. D2 atm, played 10 or 11 fights. Idc about the season rewards or the event rewards, they are 💩. The «play 5 fights» at the start of the season if you ended up in the GC is better.

    Same story every season for me as well. Reaching GC so don't have to grind again for 30k+ tropy tokens next season.

    I haven't had a single match in BG this season. The meta is boring just by reading the nodes. Not interested at all. And take in consideration BG is my favorite mode and for me to feel this way towards it. not a good sign

    Playing as usual means playing for objectives and maybe some extra matches when I get into a good rhythm. Will hit GC and dial back, using Marks sparingly.

    First season since BG dropped them I'm going to do bare minimum. Will get into GC, finish Arcane or something doing the three wins every other day.

    It's literally not worth the grind no more, arena has more value.... plus the GC meta looks abysmal so aren't rushing to watch every champs sp3 animation 😂
