Testing Attuma In Necropolis on the PC Beta

I decided to KO two birds with one stone by testing out Attuma in Necropolis while learning the PC controls. I've been waiting to test out his ability accuracy reversal somewhere but haven't found a good spot yet, but then I remembered that the Titania path in Necropolis has a node that says that your debuff ability accuracy is lowered by 25% each time you parry the defender. Attuma completely flips that, meaning his debuff ability accuracy goes up by 25% every time he parries an attack. He doesn't place that many debuffs on the defender so it's not hugely important (unless you launch an SP3, in which case it can provide a nice boost), but at the very least it allows him to parry her normally.
I haven't tested him out along the whole path but he's great against Titania at least. Most of the nodes there just fuels him, which makes for a very fun fight. The only annoying thing about that fight is that her Haymakers, if she gets them off, kind of throws off Attuma's build-up. She (and the nodes) places so many debuffs on him that he'll get really powerful, but having to wait out a Haymaker can quickly disintegrate that build-up as well.
It's worth pointing out that I am in no way a pro Attuma player (which you can probably see in the vid). I've had him for a long time but since he mostly goes on defense, I've rarely had a chance to actually play him that much. As such, this was a fun excursion.
I'm fully synergies up in the video and was running a full set of medium boosts.
The synergies were:
* Titania for +20% attack rating vs class advantage (and no class disadvantage, should I fight a mutant). Obviously helpful.
* Namor for +20% bleed potency, while suffering -20% ability accuracy. This was actually slightly detrimental to Attuma in this fight since I found it hard to both build up a ton of confussions and reach an SP3 (and then not just having Titania tank the bleeds via a Haymaker), so I mainly just focused on an SP2 rotation. As such, I rarely benefited from the positive effect of the synergy but always suffered from the negative effects of it.
* Man-Thing for an additional way to gain Hydration. It's nice but nothing earth-shattering in a fight where you already gain a ton of debuffs on you that you can convert.
* And lastly just Heimdall for the indestructible safety net.
It's not a solo by any means but it would still have been one of my least resource-intense Titania fights.

As for the PC controls, I've warmed up to them. Somewhat frustratingly, though, is the fact that I haven't warmed up to either mouse/keyboard or a controller in all areas of the game. Instead, I love fighting with a controller and navigating menus/other non-fighting stuff with a mouse and keyboard, but I dislike fighting with a mouse and keyboard as well as navigating menus and other non-fighting stuff with a controller. That's why you can see me moving along the map with the mouse and then switching over to the controller for the actual fight.
Hopefully this is something that either gets addressed by Kabam in the future or something I get used to myself one way or another.

If you're not from one of those three countries, I have no idea how you'd get in. Kabam did say that they plan to run the playtest for quite a while so it's possible that they open it up to more regions eventually, but I really don't know for sure.
Attuma's AAR reversal is niche, but can be really useful; and it also synergises well with his Unstoppable-on-being-evaded and True Accuracy abilities to make him a great option for Evasion/Autoblock opponents, in particular since it bypasses things like the True Lies node, which Kabam uses to prevent the usual counters...
He's also very good against:
