Banquet rewards and new alliances

I'm currently considering leaving my current alliance due to inactivity and language barriers. The only reason I am hesitant to do this is fear of missing out on alliance banquet event rewards. Prior banquet events required you to be in an alliance for weeks before the banquet event starts in order to stop people from joining a new alliance to get more rewards. Do you think I have time to join a new alliance and still qualify for banquet event rewards?

    Yes, banquet starts on Dec 20th and you historically need to be there for 14 days so move by Dec 6th. If you are later than that you will still get rewards, just need to wait until you can contribute points.

    They don't seem to do banners anymore
