Do all Gladiator's Circuit Battlegrounds players get seeded as if they were Vibranium I?

I finished last Battlegrounds Season 23 in the Gladiator's Circuit at Gamma II last I was aware, and I'm pretty sure that I got my rewards for that rank, so I'm not here to question that. You can see that I was indeed participating in Gladiator's Circuit last season, though my rank is now obscured for some reason in the Battlegrounds History tab:


When I was seeded today for Season 24, I was told that I finished at Vibranium I and would be seeded at Diamond V:


Does everyone participating in the previous Battlegrounds Season in the Gladiator's Circuit start as though they finished Vibranium I instead of where they actually finished in the Circuit? Is this a bug or a feature?

    Strange. Do they include that info in the tutorial? Cause it's just confusing - especially combined with my placement history being listed as "UPDATING" instead of where I was actually placed at the time.

    The seeding is based on the last victory track rank you completed, not your GC rank. Since you made it into GC, the last VT rank you achieved is Vibranium 1.

    U end a race in 4th place so u start next race in the starting line or in the 4th place 🤣🤣
