How much is Thanos worth to casual players?

I started pondering this again so I am going to throw this to the community. For a summoner like me:
- have plenty of units from hoarding, arenas, passes, etc but wouldn’t mind going all in on banquet with the extra here
- Don’t participate in high levels of competitive modes
- Don’t like endgame content - will probably not make the Thanos dupe run even if obtained

How much is getting all the deathless worth in this situation if you are a few pieces short? Personally I am missing 2 for KG. Have the others and will get she hulk as I did manage a carina objective.

    We might once again see the same wave of crying and complaining when players got 7r3 Maestro from Necro last year and were winning every single BG fight 💀

    Personally, as somebody missing a singular deathless Guilly piece, I think Thanos is absolutely worth the 5K. Everything in the Banquet will depreciate in value as time passes. That’s just the name of the game. Thanos seems like he’ll be an extremely meta champ. I only have 13k units right now but I’m willing to sacrifice 5k even if I miss out on banquet. Just look at banquet rewards from last year and see how easy it is to get every single “premium” item offered in the Banquet crystals, lol. Same with cyber, July 4th, and everything. Depreciation is the grim reaper

    If I was at one piece, I think I would pull the trigger without reservation …. 10k+ starts getting complicated. Made easier if you really want Thanos as a fan (personally I don’t care about this). However, if there is some combination of deathless that makes things in incursions or 9.2 full on cheese content, I do value that.

    And another one in the calculation- Kabam is (laugh worthy or not) selling 1 7 star of your choice for 9500 units. 10k units in my case would get me two very limited 7 stars (DKG and Thanos).

    I would also throw into your calculations if you have a method to dupe him, i.e. finishing all the carina challenges. He benefits greatly from his dupe both offensively and defensively, so if you were to spend 10k you should probably have it planned to get him duped

    Unless I am reading incorrectly, I think you only have to complete the deathless necro challenge to dupe him. Maestro dupe is dependent on all challenges (I only ever did one path with Aegon so this isn’t on my radar at all)

    That said, unless necro is noticeably easier with deathless synergies…. Like I said in my previous post, it’s probably not for me. I just don’t do the content well, get frustrated, never feel rewarded at the end… it’s more of a “well, I guess I did it”. Reading accounts of other runs lets me know I am not doing that content well.

    This is correct, Thanos dupe only requires completing the Deathless run in Necro.

    Maybe I’m wrong but I remember them saying you’ll need the 7 star version of the first four deathless if you want the 7 star version of deathless Thanos. The 6 star versions won’t work so buying the pieces will do nothing for you unless you want the 6 star version of Thanos but I don’t think you should use units on that.

    I didn’t even know you could do that, I have them all so they’re not in my store lol.
    With that said, I think he could be worth 10k but you should wait and see how difficult the quest to get him in the first place will be because it’ll probably be quite hard since the way to get a champ is usually harder then the way to awaken him.

    I already bought the dkg showcase piece. I managed to earn all the others, but that first showcase I didn't have the right counters or didn't have then ranked. Unfortunately I didn't manage to grind out the units before the onslaught fight so he is also the only one I don't have duped of those available so far.

    I didn’t have that or a counter for the busted abs man fight. Roster looks a lot different now…. But it is what it is.
