Do you think deathless pieces will ever go down in price?

Took a few months off from the game this year and now I’m missing like 30,000 units worth of deathless pieces. I’d love to complete all of Carina’s challenges but of course that’s not possible now. What do you think guys any chance?

(I know not in the immediate future, I mean eventually)

If they did, it would be several years from now.

It would be unfair to those who did spend the units. I didn't have to spend any though.

I wish I didn't have to spend 35k units on pieces I'm missing, too, but that's how it's gonna be for a long time. Once banquet is over, that's my mission.

Yeah, same here. I'm about 35,000 too. Its really to bad but I get it. I was very suprised at the price tag though. Personally I was expecting it to be on the upper side an Odin a peace, which worst case scenario as 12,000 units a champ but 20,000k is pretty gnarly. Especially the 5k-10k unit cost that deathless run is gonna be (depending on how good thanos turns out to be). Just wild pricing.

I'm guess all and all for me its gonna be close to 100k units to get all six milestones, so probably.a 2-3 year goal.

Kabam plans to make them available through content again at a later date, but it'll be a while.

Yep, best to wait than to sink 10’s of thousands of units into pieces.

I know I should, but I really want Deathless Thanos, I'm pretty sure he's gonna be best in game discussion.

I hope they don't come down in price because it took 1-2 years for the committed players to get all the pieces.

In fact, once Thanos deathless comes out in January, and proved all the hype was real and becomes a OP meta attacker and defender across the board. I would hope all the deathless pieces go up in price due to high demand and seeing how Thanos is destroying everything in his path.

So by that logic - with the Sigil now becoming a subscription, should non-subscribers now have to pay increased prices for everything?

I'd rather see some sort of permanent content that is difficult, but not everest type content to earn all the missing pieces and then keep them for sale at the current price. But of course it shouldn't be released til at least a year.

They better. They do realize 3000 units cost 100 dollars right? Each piece is 5000 units, that’s what, 150 dollars? So you’re saying each deathless champ is worth 800 bucks?

If they aren’t worth 800 bucks to you, then don’t buy them. You didn’t think it was worthwhile to chase the champs when they were available in game, so why should you get a discount now? Kabam was clear all along that you need all four deathless champs to get Thanos and that it was going to be expensive if you chose not to earn a piece through content and just buy it with units later. I understand the FOMO but I can’t wrap my head around the attitude that “of course they should cut the price for me because I didn’t want to do the content.”

Not everyone was an endgame player when this all started - should all progressing and future players be permanently restricted?

If you weren't endgame when the chase started it wasn't meant for you to begin with.

Yeah, I think they should. It’s just the cycle of a game like this. When Kabam does the next big thing, then you will be ready and a generation of players behind you will feel left out. Just the way it goes.

Some serious gatekeeping it seems - might as well lock everyone where they are and not even allow new players into the game

Kabam crashed already said they will be more available in the future, the screenshot was posted above but apparently nobody reads.
Eventually they will be available to newer players or players that weren't end game players at the time, but it'll be awhile until they are, and they haven't said how people will be able to get them because I don't think they know yet.

To be honest I’m not actually that angry that I can’t get Thanos right away. I purposely decided to take a break around vision and it is what it is. Those who pushed through the boring months deserve this, and honestly, it’s kind of nice to have something to chase during the low months before July/8 stars.

They absolutely will. Would be stupid if they weren’t.

The introduction of Gatcha system seems like a design Kabam would use to distribute Deathless champions pieces. We have seen in the past with Platinumpool's system of collecting peices and forming champions implemented on deathless champions. This does point to similar implementation with Gatcha system too. Anyhow, it doesn't seem like we are going to get that soon.
Deathless Thanos propose a threat for making The Necropolis easier. This just means that unless we get next progression title and a new endgame content, we are not going to see any reduction in costs or a easy way around to attain these champions.

No, they're saying that if you couldn't complete the content to get them that's the cost

They're a reward for long term engagement, if you aren't a long term player then you don't get them. Also this isn't progression, this is 1 trophy champion that you don't need

Does you not having deathless thanos stop you playing the game?

Never said it'd stop me from playing the game, or that I need the trophy champ - I agree that long term engaged players should be rewarded, and the reward is that they get to enjoy these champs earlier, for cheaper

My comments on this post have largely been in response to someone else's comment that the pieces should become *more* expensive over time, which I don't agree with

I'm not saying make it comparatively easier for new players - there *should* be some sort of "cost" to catch up, but grinding units for over a year seems excessive
