Parry Timing, Intercepts, and AI: 60 FPS Observations

Hey everyone,
I’ve noticed that ever since the switch to 60 FPS, we don’t seem to be talking about the control/input and AI issues as much as before. To be fair, some aspects of gameplay feel better—dexterity, for instance, has improved a lot with the higher frame rate. That said, I’m not entirely sure the FPS change has fixed everything. Here’s what I’ve been dealing with lately:
1. Parry Timing: Parrying feels off, and reparries have become way more frustrating. Sometimes, I get hit on the second parry attempt during a reparry, which didn’t used to happen at 30 FPS. The timing just feels… off.
2. Intercepts: This one’s been really weird. There are moments where I pull off what should be a perfect intercept, but the defender ends up hitting me first. After 8 years of playing, this feels super off. One of my alliance mates mentioned it might be a timing issue caused by the frame rate change.
3. AI Inconsistencies: The AI is still doing some strange things. They’ll casually walk up, light attack you into a combo, block halfway through a striker attack combo, or somehow block midway as you transition from a combo into a special attack. It’s also frustrating when some combo hits don’t even register properly. I was just watching one of Beroman’s Necro Carina Challenge highlights and noticed him experiencing the same issue during this season’s AW.
These are just my observations, but I’m curious—are others noticing the same? I feel like the FPS change hasn’t miraculously fixed everything, and in some cases, it feels like it’s made certain issues worse.
Have there been any updates from Kabam about the input or AI issues? I haven’t been on the forums for a bit, so I might’ve missed something.
Would love to hear your thoughts!

Idk what happened but when 60 fps was introduced, it was buttery smooth and nice,
Now it feels jittery and AI once again is frame skipping.
