So - time to pull the trigger on Sinister awakening and R3?

So I decided to whale out on cyber weekend as it provided guaranteed value and my banquet luck is never good…not to mention I’m not in a large alliance so don’t get half the benefit.

I grabbed the Glorious Games AG as one of my unit expenditures largely planning to awaken Sinister. I haven’t seen anything coming from the banquet releases indicating Sinister is going to be an option to awaken there, and obviously there is nothing in the new Carinas challenges either.

I already really liked Sinister and had planned to R3 him. Now that I see he also can play a big role in the Mutant challenge in Necropolis I can’t think of any reason not to go ahead and R3 him, awaken him, and sig him up. I can get him to at least 100 sig wise and could probably take him up another to 25-30 if I really wanted to focus on him.

Given how rare AGs are I really only want to use them on champs not in the basic pool, so outside of Sinister the only other champs that I could think to awaken would be Weapon X or DPX. I don’t think Weapon X really needs it that much, and while I think DPX’s buff is good I don’t think it puts him in Sinister territory.

So can anyone think of any reason to wait at this point?

@willrun4adonut would value your input - not only on the rank up and awakening but also if you think he has a sweet spot sig level wise.

    Others could probably explain better, but I would use the gem on him. If you love him for QUESTING/INCURSIONS, dump the sigs. If not, then sig 1 is fine. He has a fairly linear sig graph so he doesn't have a sweet spot. I also personally would put sigs in him to max him out.

    I do, but only as an R4 and not ascended. Stopped investing in him once it was clear the 7* was coming and that we were guaranteed to get him.

    I’m doing what you are doing. I’ve got the gem but I want to see if I pull a gem I need over the next few weeks before I throw it on sinister. (I need the kush dupe also)

    Yeah I think I’m going to R3 him now but still might wait a bit on the gem. I think I’m going to do the Gods challenge first and hold off on Mutant for another week or so.

    Make sure you are doing parry heavy. Then transfer bleeds with sp 1

    I awakened him with the saga gem and rank 3ed him too so I think that's a good call.

    Sinister is easily the best contender for a 7* mutant ag, and possibly the best option for 7* glorious games ag

    This is the only real reason to not use it on Sinister at this stage of the game given what you already said, and that it’s a Glorious Games AG:



    It’s a matter of personal preference but at this time Sinister is the most worthwhile & logical champ to use it on other than weapon x

    I also took Sinister to r3 but will obviously wait on awakening him another way
