Accolades not for friends this year?

In previous years of the banquet you were able to send Accolades to friends vs. just alliance members. Tried to do so this year and got an error message - has this option been removed?

    I have the same issue. And I need the banquet tickets.
    I am pretty sure it worked last year.

    It isn’t working for me either and I was counting on it, especially because they seemed to indicate you could send to friends as well as alliance mates. I even bought 12 tickets last week in that $29.99 build your own bundle to get me to 90 tickets overall, assuming I’d get the last 10 by sending gifts to friends. So now I’m 10 shy of a 7* sinister despite doing what I thought they said was happening.

    Yes but i tapped friends list to find them let me check on an alt account and see

    Edit: yeah alt i cant send outside of the ally which is 100% strange of an error message which shouldnt be like this and honestly doubt will get fixed by time

    Yeah seems they need to be in your alliance this year. Description of the accolade trackers even say “as voted on by your alliance”

    Thanks for checking @Bendy and confirming what seems to be an error based on the event description. Certainly Kabam are gone for the weekend if not the holiday break at this point so perhaps those of us seeing this should open tickets with support?

    Ktantan, thanks a lot.
    I just joined your alliance and could send all my 11 accolades to you.
    So you get the points in the accolades and banquets solo events. For the alliance event, it doesn't work because you had to be 14 days in advance in an alliance.
    But I got my last banquet tickets and could get the 7 star Sinister.
