Another realm event… another disappointment

Really feels like the realm event took from the reward pools for other events again. Yet another experience where putting in for the contribution needed feels like a stressful gamble because the spicy rewards are locked behind community participation and not my alliance or my own. That’s a **** feeling… yet again

If the realm event was on top of everything else like they said it would be, then the rewards should be great value for the units spent before we even take the realm event into consideration. Take the realm event out and the total rewards seem okay, but far from great. So either they're telling the truth and the banquet was going to be even worse than it is, or they did in fact consider how they would establish the rewards for the crystals, solo event and alliance event based on the addition of the realm event. It can't work both ways.

    Yeah either they are caught between over hyping a bad event or lying about the realm event not stealing from the other reward pools.

    What I don’t like is this need to make the realm even spicier than the solo and alliance events. I find that to be a huge misfire.
