Question regarding 10 crystals offer x50usd (do they count towarads the "buy" points?)

Quick question: if I were to purchase the offer that gives 10 crystals for bout 50usd, does this purchase count towards the 300 points given to you for "buying" them? Like when we buy them with unitst? What happens if I buy them in the webstore?

If not, then I would rather buy units and the tthe crystals in-game.
