Is it just me or do these rank rewards seem pretty horrendous?

im focussing on the 5% here because im pretty sure that’s where my alliance is going to end up, and, well it seems to me like these rank rewards are straight out of 2023, and not appropriate for a “Grand” banquet.

Top 5% getting a 6* trophy champ in 2024, when Kabam just gave away ten 7* for free seems very stingy to me, but the crystal contents and milestones seem solid enough.

    Valiants cannot get 6 stars but can easily r3 7 stars. Weird paradox.

    yeah I noticed this, maybe because the rewards budget went elsewhere? Other than that no reason to make such a wide bracket in which if you’re not 1-10 whale alliances you get nothing.

    7* trophy champs are still at the point where they're mostly reserved for whales - WPX has been available more than once, and he still costs hundreds to acquire..

    i think the surprise is with drop rates, they are supposed to award more stuff this year. I still find it hard to believe.

    Didn't they say at one point that ranked rewards are going to focus on solo rank Instead of ranked? Maybe due to all the alliance shenanigans that used to happen

    It has been this way for a long time. Banquet has been geared towards solo rewards. And even those only for the top. Below 1% they're trash.
    The only thing that makes it better this year is the Realm event. Otherwise would be rng fest.

    I don't think buffing the ranked rewards is the way to go. Some people were - pretty righteously so - peeved off by Kabam just adding some extra rewards to the late-stage Realm event tiers and not giving it away to everyone but a fairly small number of players, and buffing the ranked rewards would essentially just do that again. Unless they decided to buff the ranked rewards with the same content regardless of rank, I think it would just piss a lot of people off even more.

    We decided to not make a minimum requirement for the group this time around. No reason to force people to waste units on garbage.
