Banquet event thoughts

The drop rates in the SBCs are brutal. I'm now just left with 200 units with nothing but some catalysts and a few shards, I didn't get keys or any crystals. I could say that the drop rates last year were way better when talking about what I spent for 5k units in the GBCs compared to what I spent for 12k in the SBCs now. I was Cavalier last year, though, so Idk. At least I learned now to look at drop rates for next year lol. Anyway, I don't have units to spend anymore. I still really want the 7* Jessica Jones lol. She's literally the only reason why I still spent all of my units despite noticing the awful drop rates even before spending all of it.

Some things I wanna ask:

1. What can I get in the rank rewards with 20k points in the realm event? The rank rewards will give out a 7* Jessica. Since the number of people spending their units is getting lesser now, do I still have a chance?
2. For the others who still won't somehow stop in the realm event. How many points are you going for?

Next time, I'm definitely saving more units and really studying the drop rates presented to us so this will not happen to me again. 31% probability, a few in the tens, and the rest in the 1-0% are odds that I'm not gambling my units in anymore. Or I'll see community reactions first.

    20k points won't get you remotely close to 7* JJ. That's probably going to be closer to 100k to get top 30, maybe more. 20k MIGHT land you in the top 25%, but a lot of players will be hitting max milestone (or at least Isophyne) in the realm event, so you could drop lower.
    In reality, this banquet event is an enigma. Most players won't go beyond their initial investment, so that could help you, but a lot still aren't going to care. It's hard to predict anything, aside from you definitely not getting 7* JJ.

    Man, I thought I had a chance with how many people are calling for a boycott or something else going on. Not saying that the cause makes me glad, but it did get my hopes up for my chances. I got no rewards and no jj. Oh well

    Anything above 1% in these events is reserved for people dropping money/unit value in the thousands of dollars. Pretty much how it always works unfortunately. But that's why the crystals are so bad this year, because Kabam doesn't want to create a gap between whales and regular players...except for when it comes to rank rewards.
