Who should I Awaken?

I'm torn between these 2. I'll r3 the one I awaken and pump some stones.

Sentinel- He looks like a insane defender shutting down top cosmic attackers like cgr and medusa completely. Or Am I just overestimating his defensive prowess?
My tech defense is carried by 6* FAM lol.

Dpx - Awakening helps against Nick, who I don't have in my deck so I'm banning him rn.
My main mutant attackers are sunspot and sinister.

    It depends what you need right now. If you want an insane attacker, go with Deadpool. Sentinel if you want a mix of both. He is not as crazy on offense and he is also not a meta breaker on defense like Bullseye, Onslaught and Serpent. If you do plan to use him purely on defense then awakening will be a big help.

    This one is tough. I don’t even have him but I think I’d go with DPx here. I always prefer to go attack over defense.

    Dpx awakened ability is mainly just for Fury though, no? Is it really worth it just to counter one champ?

    I’d go with sentinel, dpx dupe isn’t really needed and sentinel feels so much better once he’s duped. The extra duration on his debuffs makes a big difference and he’s more of a defensive threat with it too.

    I’m having a hard time deciding myself. I have them both at Rank 3 along with Medusa and I want to pick one of those three to awaken.

    I will say that a few times my Sentinel has been absolutely demolished pretty quickly in battlegrounds, which was surprising because I’m only in Vibranium. So I can only imagine what better players would do to him. Other times, he does get a pretty easy win though. I just wonder what an awakened high sig Sentinel would have done in the matchups where he got roasted. Would he have at least eaten time like Man-Thing does?

    Deadpool X-Force has been really strong for me so far and he can take a lot of different fights. I’m still figuring out who he can and can’t take. Even unawaked, he takes a max sig rank 5 ascended Fury pretty quickly. With that said, my Deadpool has been getting banned a lot and he’s nowhere near the top of my roster. I feel like if I awaken him, he will be banned almost every round.

    Those are my thoughts so far on those two. Personally I’m going to keep testing Deadpool, Sentinel and Medusa in all different forms of content until I feel comfortable deciding who I want to awaken. I don’t want to rush this since 7* AG are so hard to come by.

    Same. I love DPX, but I was able to take out Fury pretty quickly without the sig ability. Not really sure that it's helpful, or at least helpful enough to justify using a rare resource like a 7 AG on that can be spent on someone like Sentinel who pretty clearly benefits from it.
