Why is it impossible to upgrade without spending money. I've been waiting for months trying to upgrade my best guy. Im waiting on like 2k level 4 catalyst for my black panther. It getting very boring playing over and over waiting for one thing to up grade and never freaking getting it. And on top of that it's sucks getting the same stupid crappy 2 star fighters over and over. How about a better chance at 4 stars and a better chance of getting a variety of fighters. Been waiting on green four star longer than I've been waiting to upgrade my black panther. I shouldnt have to spend money to have a chance at having decent fighters.

    You don't have to spend money to get the stuff you need to rank up your champs. If you are missing t4 basic catalysts you need to be a part of an alliance that runs and completes AQ regularly. Even an advanced tier alliance is consistently pulling t4 basic frags weekly. T4 class catalysts while harder to come by are still pretty easy to get too. You can buy the frags in the glory store using the glory you get from AQ. Or if you are a part of an alliance that regularly completes maps of AQ you might get lucky and pull one from a AQ crystal. Either way it takes effort and persistence to get the rank up stuff you need to advance in this game.

    Oh and do not buy premium hero crystals. You will rarely get the champions that you want. You would be far better off using your units to invest in masteries that allow you to complete harder quests which will get you 3*, 4* and 5* crystal shards.

    It's all about luck with aq crystals. I'm guessing you're needing a tier 4 skill catalyst, you can get glory crystals and hopefully you roll skill and can also use glory to get tier 4 skill cat fragments when they're available. Another way is to do the tier 3 class daily on the skill day and Sundays and sell the tier 3 cats for tier 4 fragments. It's a long slow process that a lot of us know all too well.

    If it's basic tier 4 that you need you can get them with glory a lot faster than class cats and also the daily quests. There's also the arena for them now and then
