Sentry idea

This was just an idea so please don’t jump on it, but I would love to be able to use sentry in BGs, especially since he’s an unstoppable counter and has some good utility when he’s ramped. If you’re still under the impression that he’s bad, you haven’t seen nagase’s video and all these necro showcases. Yes I’m aware he’s a pain to ramp, but for long form content, he’s not bad. HUGE damage.

I had a thought for BGs that he could have a pre fight ability once per quest/per BGs match that would allow you to pick one or two of his ramped pieces of utility (similar to Odin or scorpion where there’s a choice) so that he’s viable for one fight (aka BGs). It wouldn’t be charges so he would keep whatever number of charges he had before and wouldn’t make him broken. Maybe you guys have some insight on how to refine this but I would love to be able to utilize him in BGs.

    I think maybe for BGs he could start with a certain amount of warp charges, similar to how serpent has a certain amount of cul force charges and spider punk with his fans.

    This, not sure why he doesn’t have this. Some other champions would benefit from this such as Aegon and Guilly 2099

    The answer is simply that those champions aren't designed for battlegrounds. If he started with more than 1 warp charge he would be an absolute nuke

    The answer is simply that those champions aren't designed for battlegrounds. If he started with more than 1 warp charge he would be an absolute nuke
    This is why I think picking one of the abilities as a pre fight ability rather than giving him a number of warp charges would work bc he wouldn’t be overly broken

    That isn't a small suggestion that's completely changing the way he's supposed to work

    Not really. It would only work for one fight. Same abilities and playstyle, etc. just would give him some more utility in BGs and short form / one fight content

    This is awesome. How did you play him to do this?
    Likely from the powershield meta we have in gladiators circuit. I've also been able to get some 40 second solo's into sassy and other tanky mystics with good crit rng but other than that he's going to struggle to finish fights this quick with other meta's. He's not designed for that so not disappointed at all.
