They did it, they managed to squeeze another mystic into summoner choice

Kabam and their weird thing about mystics. Releasing 6 mystics in a year and releasing white tiger (summoner choice runner up) just 3 months after summoner choice winner gladiator was released. Having mystics double up and triple up in titan cycles. All while dunking on underperforming classes like skill tech and mutant. All three skill champs released in 2024 underwent rebalancing changes.

Now they revealed Shroud is mystic, why didn’t they reveal it before the round 2 so we could have more choice over which class to select. It all feels like scam to make a mystic champ summoner choice again.

    Yeah that's why we need to get Mr knight to win.

    All these new mystics yet none can take serpent in sub 60 seconds 🤣 (maybe spiral could but idk).

    1. It wouldnt have mattered if they reaveled that Shroud was a mystic. The vast majority voting dont know who he is and just think he looks cool so they vote.
    2. Calling tech an under released class is ironic because if you take 3 years into account, tech champions have been released way too frequently. Its a whole other thing that none of them have dislodged the top of the rankings except fantman and shuri
    3. I agree with skill and mutant. Kabam has to focus on these two and release more diverse attackers in both classes.
    4. Even the mystics being released are varied. White tiger is unlike other mystics that have come before. In such a case, the class should not matter. I would be wholly comfortable taking White Tiger against skill defenders knowing a lot of her kit will not be affected by class dynamics

    Nah Tech class is very good rn. There are many good techs and many tech champs released in past 2 years can be used out side countering mutants. Especially the techs this year were all bangers (prowler, jack, arcade, buffed sentinel).

    If anyone bothered to look into who the characters were, it was flaming obvious Shroud was Mystic, along with Power Man. And you can't blame Kabam for how people voted.
    White Tiger was released close to Gladiator because the vote was so close at the end.

    Is it just me that thought shroud was a mystic from the get go? And I have no idea the story of the character/never heard of him before since i don't read comics

    I'm not sure about Power Man and Hellcat, but judging by the short description from Kabam, they only focused on her melee abilities, so I decided give her the Skill class (Well, or science, as a second option)

    This is what i was thinking lol hellcat more science though for me and yeah the descriptions also felt more skill or science

    Thanks! I thought everyone was skill and it felt like kabam move making shroud mystic. If Shroud wins it will be 2 consecutive wins for mystic class that after the most crowded mystic year. Last year as well it was between skill and mystic in the final round.

    Kabam may have realized their mistake of not nerfing Serpent when given the opportunity, so they sought to make as many counters to him as possible.
