Deathless Necropolis - Guardian Path or Apoc?

Guardian lane has Valkyrie who's an absolute menace with those nodes. The only fight i truely struggled against when i did my first run with Kate in 22 revives. Heard Vision is the "best" option, but the downside is you have to use arguably the worst tech champ in the game when it comes to damage. And mine is only r1 (i wouldnt r2 him if you paid me)

Apoc path has Herc which ive seen people struggle against. Then again i saw @willrun4adonut mention he soloed with Guilly just not throwing specials . (Mine is only r1)

Trap nodes seem pretty chill for both

I did both on my main and alt accs and should say that they are kinda equal, smb tells indestructibles are bad and do guardian path, I don’t really think that’s a problem, almost all of those fights on apoc path are soloable, the rest are 1 rev fights (hello, Hercules), just keep being aggressive and you’ll never see indestructible.
That depends on what didn’t you complete earlier (if you didn’t explore necropolis, like it was with my alt acc).

Actually it looks like not throwing specials doesnt do jack sh*t once Herc is in phase 2 as then the protection comes from him throwing them too

If the guardian bug is fixed, I'd do that path. But yes, my Guilly was r3 so that did make a difference for Herc.

But my skill level is that great as seen by my revive count on Apoc and GM.

I think Guardian path is better for the Deathless crew. Valk wasn’t that bad at all.

His specials are easy to punish with a heavy and relic. You can also take block damage baiting out his heavies as Guilly will just Regen it back. And I found Herc to be rather aggressive so it was easy to intercept (and I'm not even close to the best interceptor).

So it's still beneficial to not throw specials in the last 2 phases as less protectives ? Also if i never knock him down he wont get strengths which greatly increases the block damage (ik she regens but mine is r1)

I thought I had that part in my write up. My bad. I didn't throw specials so he would stay at one strength, which reduces damage, but, more importantly for me, I could parry and stun him much easier if needed, and then launch a heavy if needed to remove the protection. I think I am Groot also has a guide where he did Herc solo or one revive too.

I took the Guardian path. Vision eats Valkyrie alive. Basically gets a milder version of Prowler's power burn when the opponent throws specials so her primary source of difficulty is negated. Rest of the path is cake.

Hes safe but the downside is being forced to use Vision. I was watching Lagacys stream where his Vision was at rank 2, and the fight was taking longer than it was someone whos Guilly was only at rank 1 versus Herc

You're better slow playing withvisipn. He is slow but safe. Apoc and herc both are annoying with deathleas team.

I took apoc and herc path, they took a lot of revives and team revives. You're better off with valk.

For reference, I used vision for cap Britain and did her in 2 revives. Mine is Max boosted and r1.

Just checking, mate - is that since the hotfix? Guardian is definitely not bugged there? I've been holding off on that path, waiting for a confirmation.

    Thanks.

I would like to know as well. Is guardian fight fixed? Plan to tackle this path in the next couple of days. Any help appreciated.

Apoc path, heal r2 dsh up full and it'll be 1 revive at most if not solo, tigra easy solo and r2 guilly vs herc with tactics mentioned in here does it no problem, 1 or 2 revives if you get a bit stuck in final phase.
