Act 6, sigil and xp boost.

I am just curious about having not having act 6 100 percent complete and getting the sigil. The sigil gives 20 percent xp boost for acts 1-6. Does that stack with a separate 40 percent xp boost or is it done separate and added together or do they not stack at all and one invalidates the other?
