Strat for Shang Chi fight — dimensional beings run

I understand the general idea behind performing Shang’s strikes, but would appreciate any more detailed suggestions for how to manage the rotations. I’ll have FAM, Chavez, Kush, CGR and Spot. Not intending to use Spot and I struggle with CGR’s rotations in more complex fights, so would prefer to focus on FAM, AC or Kush.

Thanks in advance…

end with light only. I suggest using MSDs guide on it and his total run on his yt, he was the one who helped create it after all

End with light meaning don’t end combos? Or end with light to give him the unblockable wushu strike and then just play around it?

Appreciate the suggestion on MSD. Have watched that vid, just wondering if there are any final (more granular) suggestions that anyone has.

Throw the occasional double medium to make sure he always has a wushu strike up. Push him to SP2 as much as possible - less specials for him to throw and resets the wushu strikes. If he throws an SP1 (which does not reset the wushu strikes), be sure to knock him down with a heavy to reset the wushu strokes and get another double medium up before he throws a special.

In addition to the above strategy, America Chavez is pretty good for a simpler fight during the first two phases since she has easy access to heavy to reset the strikes. She's not as good for the Final phase since the chi charge combo loops don't really play into her playstyle.

Overall, Fantman is good due to the tankiness, damage, and minimizing the specials used by Shang Chi (which means less reversed controls, less chances of him not having chi charges).

IMO, CGR isn't as good here, as you can only do your MLLLM judgement at a specific time, you have to consciously be aware of what combo is needed to activate a chi strike, and be aware of reversed controls at the same time (alternating reversed controls really trip me up).
