Another Rank-up Question

Spider-Punk, is he deserving of R3 for someone with about 12 R3s currently?
Initially, I thought no, I don't need to have my hand held on intercepts, and he's kind of a glass cannon.
But I've been playing with him a lot, and he's super fun, and the SP2 is a BG nuke, and I plan on doing more BG in the future.
Not bad for quests either because I use Shathra a lot, and she can make him a Wasp-Totem and give him poison immunity, in addition to his own immunities to concussion debuffs and rupture effects (although I guess not rupture burst damage?).

Other contenders are Sentry (for my first Necro run), or Medusa (who's awakened R2 currently).

Oh, and also, the mutual evade stuns with NSTW are always funny.

    Personally, I'd rather have an r3 Medusa, actually I do, but if you enjoy using him, absolutely r3 him. Others may say no, but they're not playing your account

    I know, seriously.
    I was Thronebreaker not too long ago and just finished exploring all of 8 and 9.1.
    When people say too many lower progression players are getting too many 7s too early, that's definitely true.
    And then add the T6B/T3A for 10 unit deal, and all the T4A you can get from around the game, you have a noob like me with all these R3s...

    Yeah, it's tough, but you're probably right, she's a beast and far more helpful than Punk.

    One thing I forgot to mention about Spider Punk, his evade stun counts as an intercept against Enchantress and removed her Evocation spell.
    It's a cheat code when she's being a you know what and not letting you intercept.

    I got punk too, he's just super cool and worth it if you mastering his playstyle. But Medusa looks more promising though.

    Anyway, it depends on your current r3s squad, is it balanced or not for each class, balanced or not for uniqueness and utility. Since you got 12s already, and valiant? even it's ok to do a fun rank up.

    Yeah, I'm still struggling, like you say Punk is super cool and fun to play, but Medusa, man, she's just a beast, ran through this max 6A Red Skull like he's nothing.

    I personally have no experience with punk. But you said you like playing and use him a lot, those two things right say "yes, take them to r3".

    Also, since he's kinda squishy he gets a lot of benefits from the extra HP.

    I say go for it.
